Brothers (and any Sisters that are likely also reading this post),
It's that time again; time to talk about music that is virtuous, lovely, of good report or praiseworthy! This is entirely subjective and not even remotely the last word on what's good. In truth, comments would be really helpful here but until then, I'm just gonna run wild with what I like. Since it's finally starting to resemble Spring in these parts, let's go with:
- John Legend and the Roots; I wish I knew how it would feel to be free. Catchy song, also a favorite of Emeritus RS Prez Laney McClain, so it must be good, right?
- Desmond Dekker & the Aces: Israelites. I dunno, sounds churchy enough to pass muster, I guess.
- Medeski, Martin & Wood: Let's Go Everywhere. Nothing even remotely to do with the Gospel, but they do mention Salt Lake!
Comments, Y'all.
